There are many tour operators offering you a cruise to the beautiful Elaphite islands. Viator Tours are a small company offering a full day cruise to three gems of Kolocep, Sipan and Lopud.
Just sit back and relax as you sail past the old town of Dubrovnik with the mountain range as it’s back-drop. It is almost worth doing the tour just to be able to look back and view Dubrovnik city walls from the sea.
Enjoy free time on each of the islands to explore stone villages, footpaths and historical landmarks.
Kolocep and Sipan are the smaller islands and time is usually given for coffee, ice creams and a swim.
Whereas your stop on Lopud, you have several hours to enjoy the promenade, multitude of bars and restaurants to choose from and time to swim, snorkel or just to soak up the sun on sandy beaches.
There is also enough time to walk 3/4 of the promenade and then to follow the sign to Šunja beach . It’s a miles walk but they do offer a golf buggy taxi service to whizz you over for a couple of euros each. I love sandy beaches and so I think it’s worth it . You can also find a tour operator who only takes guests to Lopud Šunja beach only – the one I noticed was in Cavtat but you can always ask anywhere as they tend to work with each other.
