Restaurant Bonaca

Head down to Restaurant Bonaca, for a very reasonably priced and authentic evening meal and locally too.

The restaurant is situated on the road side, but also beside the sea inlet leading to Dubrovnik’s private yacht marina, so it is a pretty setting with a beautiful view of the boats settling down for the night.

Opt for the sharing platter Bonaca for your appetizer, a platter of mixed local meats, feta, octopus, fresh anchovies and salad. It also works well if you want a drink and a snack. And then follow with the fresh fish of the day and you can’t go too far wrong.
The menu is varied and they also serve pizza and a family favourite of ours.

Tip: Booking recommended July/Aug if you want a table overlooking the sea, it is still worth going to even if the best tables have been taken. Ask Lily or Mili if you need to book.

Head down the mountain towards Dubrovnik, to the mini roundabout. Turn right to Mokocica, wind down the hill and then filter left at the T junction, by the garage. The restaurant is on the left, about 3miles on the coast rd. You can park in a pull in opposite the restaurant on the sea edge by the bus stop.
