BOOKING A HOLIDAY

HOW DO I ACCESS THE BOOKING FORM ONLINE?

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT CAN I USE TO BOOK MY HOLIDAY?

We accept a transfer to a UK bank or PayPal.

HOW MUCH IS THE DEPOSIT?

To secure your stay we require 30% of the full amount.

WHEN IS THE FULL OR BALANCE OF ACCOUNT DUE?

If paying though Bozholidays, balance is due 2 months before date of travel.
If paying through Holiday Letting or Airbnb they will inform you of their terms.

NB: Holiday Lettings also takes £200 security deposit, but do not return it to you until 3 weeks of you having left our accommodation.

CAN THE SECURITY DEPOSIT BE PAID IN ADVANCE?

The security deposit is requested on arrival in cash (unless paying through Holiday Lettings, when it has been included).

WHAT CURRENCY DO I NEED?

In Bosnia use Euro only – it is a government set rate of 2-1. Euro is acceptable in all establishments, even road side venders (though not in the large supermarket, Bingo. However, they do have an exchange bureau in the foyer or credit cards are accepted).
In Croatia use the local currency Kuna, Euros can also be used but the exchange rate is not government set and so can vary dramatically, and never in the tourists favour.

Credit cards are accepted in all tourist areas, restaurants etc.

Cash machines are found in most of the tourist areas in Bosnia and Croatia.

ARE THERE BORDER CHARGES OR VISA REQUIREMENTS?

No, Visas are necessary and no charges are incurred.

WHAT TIME IS CHECK-IN AND WHAT TIME IS CHECK-OUT?

Check in time is ideally between 2-4 pm.

Check out time is 10 am.

CAR RENTAL

Due to our location car rental is essential!

WHAT ARE THE PASSPORT AND DRIVING LICENCE REQUIREMENTS ABROAD?

A valid passport and driving licence is required.

Please note the age is 24 yrs. old to rent a car in Croatia, if younger they may add on a young person’s surcharge.

However, if you have booked a car with us, and as we do not operate as a car rental company, it is the car and its occupants that are insured and hence the reason we can rent to younger drivers.

IS FULL CAR INSURANCE OFFERED?

A fully comprehensive insurance for all the surrounding countries is offered in our rental quote.

WHAT IS THE EXCESS FOR COLLISION/ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE?

Collision added. Excess is set at £200.

HOW MANY DRIVERS PER CAR ARE INCLUDED IN THE RENTAL COST?

Any driver that has a valid clean licence and is named on arrival.

CAN I ADD A CAR SEAT TO MY BOOKING?

We can provide an infant seat for an additional charge of £10 per stay, subject to availability.

ARE TRANSFERS PROVIDED?

Airport Transfers are provided, both ways, complimentary to customers who have hired a car through ourselves, only.

Additional Transfers and taxi services can be arranged with our property manager at any time.

FACILITIES & AREA

HOW FAR IS THE ACCOMMODATION FROM DUBROVNIK?

We are 6km from Dubrovnik Old Town.

You can arrive there by a boat ferry service from Srebreno, drive and park or by taxi.

HOW FAR IS THE ACCOMMODATION FROM DUBROVNIK AIRPORT?

We are located 14km, 20 min drive from Dubrovnik’s international airport.

DO YOU HAVE EXURSION INFORMATION?

Please have a look under ‘Things to do’ as we have plenty of ideas and recommendations there for you.

We have also produced a brochure with our favourite places, directions and where to park etc. that you will find in your accommodation on arrival.

WHAT ARE DISTANCES TO THE SHOPS?

In the village we have 2 local shops, stocking the basics.

The nearest large supermarkets are Konsum and Lidl in Srebreno, 4km.

The cheapest place to shop is at the daily Market in Trebinje and in the local supermarket Bingo, 20KM – directions for all found under ‘Our location’

RESORT SERVICES

WILL THERE BE A REPRESENTATIVE IN RESORT?

Bozholidays office is located in the village. Turn left just past the restaurant sign to ‘Andric’, towards the urban area. Our office is the first on your right with a large glass window and signage.

The office is manned from 8-4 pm – with staff in and out on working duties.

Our staff are recognisable by their Bozholidays T shirts. Most can speak English and are always willing to help.

HOW DO I GET MY KEYS?

Our manager likes to meet and greet all guests and show you round the accommodation. However, sometimes due to late arrival times, this is not always possible and so we have some key safes that we will leave a key in and give you the code.

ARE CHANGEOVER DAYS FLEXIBLE?

A change over day may be flexible depending on the time of the year. We will accommodate any reasonable request.

WHAT IS THE EARLIEST CHECK-IN TIME?

Check in time is at 2 pm.

If you have a flight that arrives early morning we will endeavour to welcome you early but please note this is not always possible. Please contact us to arrange.

IS THE DEPARTURE TIME FLEXIBLE?

Departure time is at 10 am.

If a late stay is requested, it will be subjected to availability and a fee.

WHEN IS THE POOL HEATING AVAILABLE?

Pool heating is available on request at any time @£15 per day. Payable in £/€ to the property manager.

It is recommended throughout the year except for July and August but might be needed if a storm has passed through.

Please note any change in heating temperature takes at least 48hrs for it to make a difference.

IS SATELLITE TV PROVIDED IN THE ACCOMMODATION & WHICH CHANNELS CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE ?

A good selection of local and international channels are received by satellite.

IS THERE A HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE PROVIDED ?

If your stay is a min of 7 days, we will offer a complimentary mid-week service of the bathrooms and kitchen and lounge area (towels and linen is not changed unless requested).

If your stay is over 7 nights your villa will also have the complimentary mini mid-week service and halfway through your stay all linen and towels changed.

If you require additional housekeeping at any time please call the manager to arrange.

ARE TOWELS AND LINEN PROVIDED AT THE ACCOMMODATION?

All towels and linen are provided with the exception of Beach towels.

Our towels must remain at your accommodation.

WILL AN IRON AND IRONING BOARD BE PROVIDED?

All our properties have an iron and ironing board.

DO WE HAVE A WASHING MACHINE?

All our properties have a washing machine provided (with the exception of Villa Goja, Rock and Stone where use of our laundry room can be made available upon request).

IS A HAIRDRYER PROVIDED?

Each property has 1 hairdryer provided.

WILL I NEED TO TAKE TRAVEL ADAPTOR PLUGS?

You will require adaptors for your own electrical appliances.

DO WE NEED MOSQUITO PLUG DEVICES?

Mosquitos are prevalent in various places in the warm summer months and so a repellent at night is advisable.

If using A/C the plug in repellent is not required.
They can be purchased in local supermarkets.

ARE YOUR VILLAS PET-FRIENDLY?

No – but please do ask if you wish to bring your pet as exceptions can be made.
