It is located near the open air cinema in Lapad, so in the summer you could watch a movie, usually in English, and then walk to PANTURUL for some wonderful Italian based food, no pizza thank fully but a few homemade unusual pasta dishes.
They boast “Local Flavors, quality ingredients and a good variety of dishes and are happy to serve any of their dishes Tapas Style”.
The food served was not typical to most of the restaurants here in the area, the chef used to work on a cruise liner travelling internationally and it showed.
We had the most expensive choice on the menu (£29), of course, which was a 5 course taster menu but then we hadn’t eaten all day.
It was truly delicious from a Fennel and Orange salad with Swiss cheese to our Pancetta wrapped Monk Fish. Dessert was a Caramelized Poached Pear in a Chantilly Cream.
Each course was beautifully and cleanly presented, with style and just delicious.
Most main courses were between £10- £15.
